WELCOME TO TEXAS HISTORY,

KIDS!! WE survived week one of school! I hope this first week set the standard as to what 7th grade teachers expect from you for the rest of the school year! Remember, procedures, procedures, procedures, are vital for your education as well as it is for us the teachers! It is imperative that you come to school everyday! IF you have a doctor or dentists appointment make sure to schedule them in the afternoon. Be at school! You are the reason we are here! You have done a fantastic job this past week. I was proud to see you working as a team this past week with our cup tower. We will be working in groups quite often this school year. Please cooperate with one another it also helps with your social emotional skills. I have high expectations for you, don't let me down but more importantly don't let yourself down. This week will we finish setting up our interactive notebook and as I mentioned it must be neat, creative, colorful, and complete. You will keep this journal in a great condition. We will also cover the three branches of government as well as starting to cover the regions of Texas.

Tuesday- 8 Strands of Social Studies  
Wednesday- 8 Strands of Social Studies Presentations
Thursday- Three Branches of Government Powerpoint/ Fill out Notes
Friday- Three Branches of Government Powerpoint/ Fill out Notes
